As things get closer to my travel date of May 6th, I have been getting quite a bit of stuff ready. Right now, I've been working on a packing list of absolutely EVERYTHING that will go in my suitcase. At this minute, the plan is to make about 3 copies of the completed list. One to take with me to the store when I go on my buying spree for everything, and the other copies to literally make checks on what I have and don't have in my suitcase. I think that this will alleviate the worries of forgetting something, and it will allow me to rest "somewhat" easy that night.
I also applied for my passport a few weeks ago, and that came in the mail just yesterday! That was a great stress reliever, until I found that someone at the passport office got my place of birth wrong... so I have to call tomorrow to see whether that will matter that much or what?!!!
I found a great 32" suitcase at Big Lots for $55, a steal compared to the other deals I've found! Now to get some packing tips for all my clothes, accessories, and anything else that Germany must see :)
